2017 Reserve Viognier
Incredibly aromatic with fresh Okanagan peaches, apricots, and pears complimented by hints of ginger and jasmine flowers. A terrific balance of texture and acidity.

Our 2017 Limited Edition Reserve Viognier was farmed from a single vineyard estate in West Osoyoos where the semi-arid climate and desert-like condition provide an ideal environment for grapes with a high skin-to-juice ratio. The result is vibrant flavor and intensity. After a gentle pressing we fermented the Viognier in a mixture of concrete eggs, oak barrels, and stainless steel tanks and barrels. The concrete eggs have given the wine incredible texture and weight, and the stainless tanks have kept all that amazing apricot and peach fruit.
75% stainless steel tank, 15% stainless steel barrel, 7% concrete egg, 3% oak barrel
The 2017 growing season started later than anticipated due to a cool, wet spring. The late start resulted in a lower yield than expected but that reduced yield, along with a warm, dry summer, resulted in small, concentrated berries that produced wines of exceptional depth and intensity.
